Woody's
Last night we paid yet another visit to Woody's beachside bar/restaurant on st petes beach, and bumped into our genial landlord Peter the paper carrier,he bought us a drink then came back to torment us a couple of hours later, there was a resident singer and guitarist on live, and Sheila finished up dancing with Pete along with other elderly rockers, this place is Ozzie style.

All quiet on the western front
Today we took Gina up to Orlando for her flight home,on arrival in Orlando we had a big lunch in Cracker Barrel on Semoran Boulevard and all three of us ate too much.
We then drove up to the airport and had an hour with Gina before her flight, the drive back down to Redington took longer than normal as we hit the rush hour traffic in Tampa,so now we are back to a quiet life on our own.

Sunny Florida

Best day so far all out in the sun basking, I have just made a lovely margarita cocktail for Sheila and Gina and watched them slumber for a while in the sun.
The above picture was taken by Gina yesterday at Mazzaro's a large Italian supermarket,Sheila asked for tasters, which resulted in all three of us looking for somewhere to spit it out, I had to swallow mine which meant tasting a wine to remove the lingering obscenity.
I am sure the phrase "only in America" is appropriate in regard to this concoction.

Steak and Tennis
Today me and Gina played our part in supporting the beef industry in the USA by demolishing two very large steaks in record time, and a few glasses of nice Ozzie wine, all this as a result of of an appetite sharpened by a game of "tennis "on a court just behind our abode,in a temperature of 75f ,Sheila went for the fish option(Tilapa).
Gina went to bed about 8.00(jet lag) While I fell into a wine induced slumber for about an hour.
