Yanqui doodle & emperors clothes
If you have wondered how the New York abstract expressionist painters, the drip painterJackson Pollock , Mark Rothko ,Kline and others, made such a mark on the art world in spite of the public scepticism,I have the answer for you it was the CIA who provided the cash, don't take my word for it google it for yourself,so much for open democracy.
I started to read an online book about the mexican mural painter David Alfaro Siqueiros as a result of the above revelation but unfortunately the book by a painter named Philip Stein ended about 2 thirds of the way through and at 20 quid a throw I don't think I will bother with the rest having got what info I want, this bloke led a very adventurous life and if you can get a free download or a library copy give it a whirl.
