All things must end

The much vaunted closing ceremony at a recent athletics event featured the spice girls and a glimpse of posh politicians and the windsor parasites jigging in the aisles there can be no better reason to decamp  to bed, after months of this hyperbole finally comes to an end.
It's enough to drive one into the self indulgence of the art world for sheer solace and to escape the feelings of jealousy over the unlimited riches these competitors  seem destined to rake in from their efforts, and all for a bit of rowing, biking ,running and jumping etc.. pretty much like the high paid minority of footballers plying their trade in our country, the real majority of players are in the lower leagues and are paid much more realistic wages and give far greater effort.
