"Titled" persons and other suspect tales.

Today fixed a couple of doors that wanted a shaving off they shut ok now, this afternoon went to Gentleman George's to fix his sign to the tree at the end of his drive, work on his extension is going on apace and should nearly be finished.
Sheila heard him and Lady Ann disagreeing in the co op supermarket this morning,It was probably about choice of champagnes,Grand crue or spanish plonk,I think it must have been the servants day off.
Had an e mail from Alan Towers Sheffield this morning with all the latest gossip from the big city,Alan and Lady Victoria are coming down to visit their country residence next week so we shall probably be meeting up for a very expensive lunch.
The weather is cloudy and fresh with a wind from the north sea,George has been on the beach this morning and tried to jump a channel between sandbars, result wet feet Lady Ann is not amused.
Curry is bubbling away on the stove ready for Gina and Andy arriving later today, all manner of delicacies will probably await them,or maybe not.
Montana Mike is complaining a lot on his blog,it seems he inadvertantly sat in Sonia's place on the couch and was severely reprimanded,he was sent to bed at 9.30 for his cheek, and denied access to football on tv.
Lots of bird activity today about a dozen blackbirds on the back garden, blue tits looking at the nest box where they had chicks in spring, and last night hundreds of rooks in flocks swooping over the little house, also saw a wren this morning who I think lives in an old hawthorn next to the dyke, pied wagtails on the path eating bread crumbs, and two ducks crash landing on the larger dyke about 100yards away, this morning out of the kitchen window a cock pheasant strutting around all this wildlife stuff is for Montana Mike's benefit, and all true.
I got it wrong with my football forecast last night Turks 2 Scousers 1 something has gone seriously wrong at Liverpool FC, they were very poor last couple of games and were fortunate in their local derby with Everton.

The wildlife sounds great. I'm ready to get out of the rat race and stop and smell the roses.
