Art Lesson

The oil painting of Rotherham Main Colliery I painted in 1966,and is a view of the pit head gear and winding engine house, from the bridge over the River Rother facing west,by this time the pit was closed and this structure is now demolished,I was born and spent the early part of my life in a colliery house around 100yards away from the pit, just over a railway cutting up on a cliff top.
The miners head is a painting I did on the computer wacom programme, and I plan to paint a large version on canvas in acrylic paint, end of art lesson.

I'm impressed you can do this stuff on the computer.
