Tired? a shift shovelling coal is tired.
Excuses abound for the reason the "international" players representing England were crap,not least the one about them being tired,well here are a couple of facts to consider,English players played 921.5 games average48.5 German players played 926 games average48.7. in 2009 2010before the world cup.

Ah, but you are forgetting the main point. It's not just the number of games, but the physical level of the EPL. The EPL is easily the most physically demanding league in the world. The Italians and Spanish, stroll around in comparison.
What about the foreign players in the premier who are showing no signs of "tiredness" in the world cup?
Some are. It's just that only a few of the Spaniards, Germans, Brazilians, etc. play in the EPL. Practically all of the English players do.
