grey day

Saturday nearly dawned, once more raining on the flooded prairie,\little house faring well.though it is rumoured farmer joe is in good financial position, allegedly through diversifying into duck farming on his pond/lake.He has been observed showing his new vehicle off, speeding by in a cloud of fine lincolnshire spray.
I trudged on foot through the wild landscape to buy 6 eggs from the poultry farm, and then on to the village for a paper, only to find they had sold out.(city dwellers please note,)its not all coffee mornings and fish suppers at the village hall.there is a downside to country living.after much searching managed to find a paper,so all turned out well in the end.viewed video ,on the net of vacationers in montana in shorts and t shirts, there really is no justice in the world.Looking out over the sodden prairie, the skies seem to be lightening, but it could be wishful thinking,La signora is baking away in the kitchen, one of her favourite activities,Sheffield Signman, must try harder to put a comment on the blog,I am told its quite easy, the red arrows are due to provide us with an exhibition on sunday evening(according to joe the farmer.hope we will be able to see them, not had any input from Mick andMontmorency regarding the Blog, good south yorkshire couple that they are, more later.

Grey day...rainy day...cloudy...sounds like a typical British summer. I am watching the British Open on TV and they are all in rain gear and umbrellas. I'm glad I'm here and complaining that it is 95 degrees instead of 85.
