I spoke to Al on the phone yesterday they are back at their city dwelling and it seems there was a torrential downpour which emptied millhouses park,we saw a few spots around 7pm,but had rain during the night and now its bright and sunny.
We sometimes meet up in Boston for window shopping and lunch at a little cafe with an outside area overlooking the river witham, and it seems in our absence on this accasion they had a roast beef dinner and treacle sponge, which he informed me was running in treacle, all lovers of this pudding will know this is the ideal to aim at,and all for around £5.
Harvesting is going on apace here, at the moment its barley but shortly it will be wheat, our chickens are looking fondly at the barley field next to the little house,it must be their equivalent of treacle sponge.

If we ever get to visiting you, a trip to Boston for the said treacle sponge and custard must be part of the itinerary.
