Trekking the dunes

Sunday morning and a phone call from the Le Blades, asking us to go for a walk up the sand dunes to saltfleet, the weather was windy but not cold and lovely sunshine, the walk turned out to be quite lengthy, and we arrived back home around 4pm,this evening Alan rang from Sheffield and told us about his holiday in Ibiza, where they had red hot weather for 2 weeks, they arrived back at Alan Towers around midday, and had to put the heating on, global warming? here it has been approaching 78f this afternoon,it seems we missed most of the heavy rain which soaked the rest of the country recently.
Standing on top of the dunes we had a good view of Spurn Point lighthouse across the Humber estuary, and shortly the seals will be back in the area for their annual breeding.
Thats it for now Graham
