Yesterday having some posters to deliver to Lincoln,we decided to try the bus service using our passes, one and a half hours each way, the trip can be described as akin to three hours in total on a roller coaster ride, the driver was a frustrated racing car driver, with amazing skills, the result for the passengers was probably not as exciting as for him, seating was basic a little like the old pit bus that used to take us to work around 1957.
We shall probably not avail ourselves of the service very much in the future,as we woke this morning to various lower back and leg aches, probably as a result of being thrown around and bracing against the next "exciting" surprise, the upper deck did however provide a good view of the lincolnshire countryside, which was a positive among much negative.
We left our car at Le Blades house as the bus only runs through the village ,on our return they were out but phoned to ask for a report on the day, which offered them some amusement and took their minds of the dental adventure (see my last blog).
We are thinking of offering ourselves as aged astronauts as we feel we are now fully able to accept the stresses of taking off in a spacecraft.
Lunch was taken in a restaurant straddling the river witham, which dates back to 1400 or thereabouts, pity the prices were not from that era.
On the dental front there is news,I rang up a dentist located in Cleethorpes who looked very professional on their website and was told to go up and we could register with them,so this will probably be on Monday, sadly leaving the Le Blades to the tender mercy of the Louth Germans.

You must be getting old when a bus ride is too much for you!!
