A Visit from "Aarr Juaa "

Today we had "our Joe" and his wife visiting for the day or" aarr juaa" as we called him in our incomparable yorkshire dialect ,they were staying nearby in a caravan,we chatted about croc. mick and his dad uncle Ted, Joe could remember him from during the war before he left for Australia to fight the japanese,it seems he was even bigger than our dad according to Joe,and we had a few laughs at things that happened when we were young such as Grandma Millsons inedible apple pies which I used to throw to the hens until she caught me in the act and excluded me from further gifts of pie, how lucky was that?
After I took our visitors back to the van I went up the road to pick up a rabbit our neighbours son shot, and which we shall have for dinner tomorrow, then I had a walk down green lane where the dyke runs and counted seven ducklings so all present and correct.
I almost forgot,Sheila and me went to cast our vote early this morning,I shall leave my reader/s to guess as to how we voted.
