harvesting pictures

The Picture below is one of our neighbours, who had a Barbecue last saturday, being an ex sailor
heflew these signal flags, "England expects every man to do his duty,"originally flown by Lord Nelson.

Well here they are, pictures of the harvesting, the top picture is rape seed harvesting, the one below is the borage field . opposite our little house on the lincolnshire prairie, being harvested this morning.

I am indebted to Mike and Mary Sue Montana, for the information regarding the real little house on the prairie, which they passed on their way to Kansas City.

Farmer Joe is on line again ,maybe he knows of a local farmer ,who may be willing to sell a small piece of land, for horticultural use .

We should be rid of the corn flies before Gina visits,so no excuses are accepted.

Weather is ok at the moment, dry sunny periods, the Ducks will be complaining next,I suppose it makes a change from the farmers, what do you think farmer Joe?
