normal country day

Today was a normal country day, I cycled to get eggs from the farm, and a paper from the village post office,a round trip of 8 miles.
Painted the new shed which Geriatric Construction Ltd assembled on tuesday,
that is 1, 78 year old,1 , 68 year old,and young Graham (me).

The weather has been nice today, around 82 f. this afternoon,La Signora sunbathed a little this afternoon, but had to move into the shade, too hot.

The local paper published a cartoon which I sent in, as an alternative to writing a letter,it was a pictorial comment on the recent wet weather.

Visited the goose farm to check if the hay has been cut,as I promised to help out with the haystack, however it,s still not ready ,so got a reprieve from that little chore.

Harvesting is in full swing,as a result of which we are plagued by little itchy corn flies.

Thats it folks another exciting country day drawing to an end.

WILL THE FLIES BE GONE BY NEXT WEEKEND???! I'm not coming if they aren't, nasty pesky things that get in your ears.

Balaclava and mittens would be good protection for all the flies round Grahams.
