Today my driver and me went out for a tootle around the local environs waving leisurely at all the other MERCEDES drivers we encountered,though none returned our salutes we were not dismayed being safely cocooned in our Teutonic feat of engineering.
I believe some photos have been taken by the drivers mother and auntie and expect them to appear on some blog or other ere long,and the vehicle is no doubt shown to it's best by the accompanying two gentlemen of substance.

Another day in paradise
Hello dear readers in climates less congenial,it saddens me to hear of your struggles with the cold as I sip a nice cool glass of wolfblass chardonnay,if it is any consolation I too will shortly be suffering alongside you,(well in a few weeks).
I begin to wonder if it will be worth returning to the northern hemisphere this year at all ,but sadly finances do not allow for a more extended stay here in the bone warming 30's centigrade,though we did have a light shower of rain today as we dined in the ex servicemen's club in down town bribie.
All this may seem like gloating but rest assured I think about you all frequently and have a little chuckle.
Le Blade please note, I am able to watch football on tv as this is a football residence and caters well for the true football fan,so as you can see I lack for nothing,beer, wine, sunshine....there must be a catch but as yet it is not apparent.
To Farmer Joe,make sure paddy pays the rent.

Hot and Cold
Nice warm day again down under,my thoughts are with the suffering inhabitants of the small cold island in the northern hemisphere as I sip a cold beer,tears well up in my eyes as I think of the cold winds and snow,all I can say is "Think yourselves lucky you are not here suffering 30c heat and drinking cold beer to cool down,I assure you it is no bed of roses here in Australia."
That's about it for today I must away to throw the blankets off the bed as it seems we are in for another warm night so cheers for now.

Deepest Red
For the past two days I have been putting my ex protege through a refresher couse in decorating,we have had a couple of 5.30 am starts,and I am pleased to say Sam the Pom has come through with flying colours,he has a particular talent for the creative use of deep red,and also for his speed of thought in the customer relations sphere.
