Mick's outback camp at night

This is an imaginary view painted in acrylic on a 5x7inch canvas, it shows Mick stirring the billy on his campfire under the starry West Australian sky while out gold prospecting,  after varnishing  it I may add some specks of gold leaf  to the scene, makes you bloody jealous of him doesn't it?

Forza Italia !

Well as I forecast my  Italy are the team to beat, trounced the "Aryan" race last night and what a strange coincidence I had a conversation with a German who stopped to ask the location of any b and b's nearby just before the game.,Even more unusual we conversed in Italian due to my limited German and his limited English.and of course my limited English.
.So now it's "FORZA ITALIA" aganst the bull baiters from Spain ,seems we did the Germans a bad turn by allowing the Italians to play them instead of us,had it been us,  one feels the "Master Race" would have gone into the final.
Went into the town to  post a parcel and saw a car flying the Italian flag must be the ice cream bloke,I'm with him for the final.

Not the sistine chapel

This is my sistine chapel. Not the quality of commission Michelangelo enjoyed but better than nowt I suppose .It keeps me away from adding to the canvases which are stacking up nicely for Gina to dispose of after I "shuffle off this mortal coil,".Which bit of the bard brings me to an excellent programme  at 9pm Friday about that illustrious bloke. It may surprise non devotees of  shakespeare  how interesting it can be.

My attention was drawn to an alien ie; US citizen criticising our football team and using the WE word while doing so,this is not cricket and will not be accepted as valid criticism, which is our English national sport and reserved for inhabitants of this sceptic isle.
Meanwhile I on the other hand ,a long standing resident of this green and pleasant land, am well within the parameters outlined above and hereby state that in my opinion the three Man U players in the England team, strangely enough managed by a Scotsman ( read what you will into that)) against my alter ego land Italy, gave the most lacklustre performances and one had a laughable toupee on his head throughout the game which resulted in him fearing to head the ball due to the possibility of dislodging the obscenity,
I single out for praise all the other team members, and statistics so beloved of our US friends mean nothing if the opponents score more goals ,this is how you win football matches nothing to do with square" tic tac" passes, in fact the Italians long balled it to the Pilkington alike Mario Doolaliotelli with almost dire results for England.

Gazzer! Ronaldo! Rooney?

For all his massive ego Ronaldo was the winner for Portugal against the Czechs and with a little more accuracy could have scored 3 or 4 times, makes you wish we could swap him for overated Rooney,I remember a brilliant Gazzer who  could be forgiven most things as a likable Geordie lad, and don't see how Rooney can be mentioned in the same breath, but then what do I know there must be summat in all the adulation he seems to enjoy, its not the rug he wears on his head that I do know,I really must stop allowing my dislike for the arrogant Ferguson and his team to cloud my thinking.

Brisbane Wolves

I have just listened to a radio interview on "washingline"of Sam the pom, coach of Brisbane Wolves  and I think this bloke talks a lot of sense about football made more profound by the elocution lessons me and Mick Mcarthy seem to have unwittingly provided,( just a little joke I don't want his missis getting all irate) but  it's not how you say it,its what you say that counts and the bloke knows his onions, and I think its only a matter of time before some big Ozzie club poaches him.

Dismal

Watched a dismal England performance last night there appears to be some problem about a disallowed Ukraine goal the fact is that offside should have been given against them and this would mean the goal is not valid even though it crossed the line so in the end it was a poor refereeing decision.
These are not the England teams we are used to seeing and maybe the massive influx of foreign mercenaries into our leagues has rubbed off on home grown players who now consider feigning injury and cheating in general as part of the game ,amazing how all the emigres from our shores still feel they are England supporters, when you leave and become a resident in a foreign land you should become a supporter of your new country.

Hip Hop Hooray

My attention was brought to a bloke named Kingslee James Daley who I listened to courtesy of little prince,it's good that youth is encouraged to become involved in the arts and any vehicle which does this is to be commended, sadly my long standing hearing problem did not allow me to understand much of the hip hop Shakespeare but this is not important as most of the youth of today will, William Shakespeare is probably the finest Englishman to put pen to paper although there are many other poets worth reading, Shelley for one,and dare I say it a Welshman Dylan Thomas  knew how to play around with the English language and if all this brings about an interest in the emancipation of the underprivileged through politics even better.

Derek's Missis?

As I was looking out of the window and thinking how much like a Brisbane summer it is with all this rain my thoughts went back to sunny West Australia and sharing a beer and a yarn with cousin Mick's aborigine neighbour Derek along with a scabby dog and various infant members of his family, our get together was interrupted by a loud female voice berating some poor soul inside the house, Mick offered the obvious comment " Missis is at home then Derek" we then learned from Derek that his job with the electric company was taking him away to Denham for a week all this with a slight look of relief,so I decided to send his missis out into the wilds with the magic of pen and paper.

Nerves in tatters football

England did their usual trick of putting the fans nerves on edge and all this against a fairly average team in Sweden, our defence were poor and I think we were fortunate to get the win, though Carroll was very good I think if we play him we need a couple of wingers to loft the ball in for him and he could be leading scorer in the competition!!!!,can't wait for the next "nerves in tatters" game against Ukraine.

Auntie Pat

Great shame Pat dying at such an early age,she did her own thing which made her my favourite and if you didn't like it she would more than likely chin you,but at the same time she would console you as she picked you up,would like to have shared a few more drinks with you Pat.

Glad he's in a land down under with that voice

Apparently Crocodile Mick was thinking of coming in from his  outback prospecting trip when somebody played him a video of Liam S. "singing" ? Advance Australia Fair ,and he turned round straight away into the outback saying "The bloody dingoes barking is more musical."

Crocodile Mick gone walkabout

Finally had contact from my down under family and  my cousin Mick is in the outback gold prospecting location unknown and he is not about to reveal it to potential claim jumpers,it's a bit like the old world war 2 films "somewhere in western Australia".

Three lambs on their shirts

I see there has been a fracas involving Joey Barton the footballer maybe metaphorically speaking we could do with half a dozen with his fighting spirit in the England football team.

Annoying word

Hopefully we have seen the last of the demi god worshipping no doubt a show put on to distract people from the mess this bunch of toffs in parlaiment are making of trying to govern, and luckily the crap weather has saved us from the annoying Americanism "awesome" being bandied about to describe yesterdays fiasco.

Raining on their parade

Today according to the propoganda barrage is the day of the Greco German"faeces flotilla" on the open sewer that is the river Thames, mother nature has decided to rain on their parade probably dampening the ardour of the acolytes present.

The real credit to a nation

This is a picture of wealth creation, or working at a real job, no salutations and celebrations for his kind who are the backbone of a nation and provide everything while the parasites take all ,and yet it seems too difficult for many to see this and as a result we are in for a weekend of glorification of the parasitical dysfunctional Greco German family.
One thing that amazes me is that anyone can believe that another person is a demi god because they are born into a specific family, and that they should inspire reverence from others.

Parasites

We have been subjected to a lengthy period of propoganda to soften us up for this weekend of a dysfunctional Greco German family celebrating their parasitical lives paid for by the working people of this country,if this family had been residents of an inner city council estate they would be subject to tirades of criticism and not being glorified by the media and those deluded citizens who are prepared to turn the clock back to medieval times.
How ridiculous is it that some person should be referred to as " your highness" it's nothing more than servility of the worst kind, and the sooner this bunch are declared redundant the better.
