This is from a drawing I did at Sam the pom's place in Queensland,I see his team won a six pointer 4-0 on Saturday ,so this boat could be replaced by a more magnificent vessel complete with his and hers drinks cabinet.

The first picture is Emu free,second picture shows two Emus which I added to the original digital painting,this is as I remember it at the Rocky Pool on the Gascoyne River,though there were also feral goats and other animals drinking while we swam,and a powerfull "willy,willy" blew up as we were swimming in the pool,you may need to look up this Australian phenomenon on google.

Today I had a shower having neglected to do so on my birthday,I had to wear sunglasses as it was so bright in there,blue and white and the sun blazing through the two windows,to make up for all the brightness I painted this dull tree and billabong on my computer painting programme.

Today being a not much news day I thought about showing a video of me in our shower,but I forget where the shower is located ,and there is another year to go before my birthday,so thats about it for today.

Pleasant pheasant view

This morning I opened our bedroom blinds to look out at the weather and about 6feet away from me was a hen pheasant standing on the conifer hedge,and beyond it a long vista of cultivated fields leading up to the Lincolnshire wolds,I brought Sheila in to look,but it had gone when I went back with the camera,you poor city dwellers are certainly missing out,I never saw views like that in Sheffield.
Weather here for the past two days has been like Queensland,raining and two mosquito bites,one on my ear which is a bloody nuisance.

Spain it is.

World cup winners are Spain if anybody has been living on another planet,I just thought you should know,a rough old game giving Rotherham lad Webb a lot to do refereeing it,I thought he was very lenient with one or two players but all round OK.
The weather today has changed,it is raining at the moment, first time for around 5 weeks,so we can't grumble,and the gardens need it.
Home alone at the moment apart from the avian residents 9 hens and a duck,Sheila has gone on a course for backward accountants in Louth with another WI member,so she will be an accounting wizard when she gets home.
I think the trick cyclist of KC is looking for advice on getting rid of rabbits from his garden,in view of the lax gun laws over there I suggest a .22 rifle ,not a shotgun,as these fill the rabbit with pellets
and are a niusance when you eat them.

Spain it is.

Spain it was,but a very poor game all round,the expected rough stuff from Holland materialised,and the poor lad from Rotherham refereeing had the hardest match of all.

Out of all the teams in the world cup,the two I least wanted to reach the final appear about to do so,it seems the final will be "Jerry and the Clog Dancers"though I live in hope of a massive upset and the final being Spain and Uruguay.
Tonight its the semi between the Cloggies and Uruguay,so fingers crossed that the ref rumbles the sneaky fouler, and the world class diver I named in the previous blog.
